Qantas is temporarily reducing capacity between Australia and Hong Kong amid the Coronavirus (COVID19) outbreak.

Sydney is the only route that for now remains unaffected, with 2 flights a day between the two cities.

Hong Kong – Brisbane is being reduced from a daily flight to between 4 and 5 flights per week from February 23rd until March 29th.

Hong Kong – Melbourne is also reduced from a daily flight to 5 flights per week in the same period.

Passengers booked on any of the canceled flights will be offered to re-book to another date or via one of the other routes that are still operating, however, they will apparently not be allowed to be re-booked on Cathay Pacific material.
