Hi, I am departing Hong Kong on the 27th July, I am a citizen of the U.S. I know they requires a viral test (NATT or antigen test ) can you tell me how many days before I should do the test how do they count the result, is it 3 days after the result was out or they start counting when I started the test, thank you
Hello,
From what I understand, the sample has to be taken no less that 72 hours before your scheduled time of departure, it does not matter when the result is out.
Things change on a regular basis, I recommend you to check Cathay Pacific’s travel updates before you travel as well, you can find them here: https://www.cathaypacific.com/cx/en_HK/covid-19/worldwide-travel-restrictions.html
