Review – Emirates Boeing 777ER Cebu – Clark business class

After landing in Cebu the passengers bound for Angeles/Clark were allowed to remain onboards, whereas the passengers bound for Cebu disembarked. As soon as they were off the plane, a cleaning crew came on board, and did a (very quick) clean of the empty seats.

Before cleaning.

We remained on ground in Cebu for a bit more than an hour. The inflight entertainment system was on all the time, so it was fine for the kids, they could keep on watching movies while waiting for our final leg of the holiday.

After a quick clean the seats looked much better.

The flight to Clark was very uneventful, just took a bit more than an hour, and the only meal service was a dry turkey baguette, a muffin and a soft drink. I don’t think they served any alcohol on this leg of the flight.

Business class meal.

We arrived in Angeles on time, and being in business class we were first to disembark, and made it through immigration in almost no time. Our driver was waiting for us outside the terminal, and we were back in our house less than 45 minutes after landing. Now it was time for me to have a quick nights sleep, before I had to wake up at 5 am for my flight back to Hong Kong the next morning, and off to work for the afternoon shift.

Overall it had been a good holiday, lots of travelling and not so much time back in Norway. But I must say again, being able to afford business class is worth all the money when travelling alone with 2 kids for that long in such a short period of time. To be able for the kids to have a flat bed and get good rest is awesome, and to have enough space that they can come and sit with me when they want, and still space for me to stretch out is awesome.
