Reviving my blog.

It has been many months since I last posted on this blog – after Covid grounded all traveling for myself for more or less 2.5 years my interest in traveling and aviation and blogging all grinded to a halt – it is no fun blogging about things that you never get to experience, and have no plans of doing.

However, now that all Covid restrictions around the world have been lifted a while ago, I have been able to do some traveling (around 20 trips to the Philippines to see my family there), and I have also been on a couple of holidays in Thailand and Macau, and a trip planned to Vietnam this coming week.

In addition I have been living in several different hotels around Hong Kong on long-term deals, so I will also try to give some reviews of those hotels (although it feels different when you live somewhere compared to when you are a guest for just a few days). Also, aviation in both Hong Kong and Angeles City (Clark), Philippines, is in full recovery mode, so I will try to keep updates on what is happening both places.

I also had a couple of trips before Covid that I never got around writing about, and although my memory is mostly gone, I am sure looking throught some old photos will bring some memories back to life, and I can write some short posts just for my own records 😀

When it comes to miles, points, creditcards and deals I am completely out of the loop, so I will need to find time to start studying around that as well, and hopefully update here with some interesting trips and offers – I am sure the credit card industry will have several good offers over the next foreseeable future as they will try to benefit from people traveling and spending again.
