Cathay Pacific Soars Higher: New Direct Flights from Hong Kong to Riyadh Now Available!

Cathay Pacific has recently inaugurated a new direct flight route between Hong Kong and Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, enhancing connectivity between these two dynamic cities. This service commenced on October 28, 2024, marking a significant milestone in the airline’s expansion into the Middle Eastern market.

Flight Schedule and Frequency

The new route operates three times weekly on Mondays, Thursdays, and Saturdays. Flights depart from Hong Kong International Airport (HKG) at 16:25, arriving at Riyadh’s King Khalid International Airport (RUH) at 21:35 local time. The return flight leaves Riyadh at 23:35, landing in Hong Kong at 12:30 the following day.

Aircraft and Onboard Experience

Cathay Pacific utilizes the Airbus A330-300 for this route, renowned for its spacious cabins and advanced in-flight entertainment systems. The aircraft offers a three-class configuration: Business, Premium Economy, and Economy, ensuring a comfortable journey for all passengers.

Fare Information

To celebrate the launch, Cathay Pacific has introduced special return fares starting from HKD4,088 for Economy Class and HKD12,888 for Business Class. These promotional prices are available for booking until November 30, 2024, for travel up to March 29, 2025.

This route is a new addition to Cathay Pacific’s network, reflecting the airline’s commitment to expanding its presence in the Middle East. The direct flights between Hong Kong and Riyadh are set to facilitate greater trade, tourism, and cultural exchange between the two regions.
