When I traveled to Da Nang in September 2023, I stayed 2 nights at the 4 Points by Sheraton, Da Nang. A full trip report can be found here. I booked a standard room online through the Marriott Bonvoy app, and the total price for 2 nights came to 5.230.000 VND (around 200 USD.).
I had originally booked one of the cheapest rooms, and hoping that my Marriott Bonvoy Titanium status would be of help to getting a better rooom. As I arrived at the hotel, the staff very quickly and efficiently processed my check-in, and told me that I had been upgradet to a seaview balcony room on one of the highest floors. In other words success!
The room itself was fairly standard, but the view from the balcony was spectacular! Entering the room, the bathroom was on the left, and a small wardrobe on the right. In the room itself there was a large, king size bed, a nice sofa by the balcony that one can relax on, a computer / office desk and a big screen TV. There was also a soft wall to wall carpet on the floor

On the table there was a plate with a welcome snack, and a personal welcome letter from the Duty Manager, a nice touch.

Behind the curtains there were massive floor to ceiling slidning doors, which opened up to the balcony, which offered amazing views over the Pacific Ocean, and the My Khe Beach.

Of course, at daytime the view was even nicer.

Back in the room, there was a whole lot of electic outlets, so no matter what charger you have, you can find something that you can use.

Then there was a small luggage rack for storing the suitcase, a minibar that was normally stocked with reasonable prices, a kettle and instant coffee and tea, and complimantary water. There was also a wardrobe for storing my clothes, and a standard hotel safe.

Then for the bathroom – I find it a bit strange, but it seems to be popular many places, but the wall between the bathroom and the bedroom was completely made of glass, giving full insight to the bathroom. Great for solo travelers, as you get plenty of natural light in the bathroom, but not sure I would want to watch other people using the bathroom….

The bathroom featured a rainshower, a single vanity with lighted mirrors and a normal toilet. They also had a nice selection of fresh towels. The amenties offered in the shower was the standard 4 Points selection, which is perfectly fine (althoug I am personally not a fan of the multi-use bottels in the shower.)

Back in the room there was a card with information about when the breakfast buffet was busy, so that was a nice reference. However, I was down for breakfast quite early both mornings, and there were no problems getting a seat.

The breakfast itself was really good, a large buffet with full selection of hot and cold dishes, drinks, fruits, pastries and whatever else you could wish for. In addition, as a Marriott Titanium member, I was offered a designated eating area, where they had a special menu as well to choose from.

I went for the Egg Benedicts one day, and the Xiu Mai the other day. The Xiu Mai was outstanding, and I was sad I didn’t realize that the day before.

On the west side of the hotel there was a glass elevator that offered great views to the northern and western parts of Da Nang.

At the rooftop of the hotel there was a big outdoors swimming pool, and some pool sitting groups, where you could offer drinks from the bar and just enjoy the view

There was also a well equipped gym, an indoor jacuzzi and a sauna!

The hotel was located just on the beach, which was great for unlimited long walks in the shallow surf – and almost deserted when I was there, so a really good place to relax and enjoy.

Overall I was very impressed with the hotel, the staff, service, and foood. This was my 4th time visiting Vietnam, and I will come back for more visits for sure in the future! You can read about my 2019 visit to Phu Quoc here, and a list of my hotel reviews is available here.
