When I booked the ticket the departure time was 15:40 and arrival time 17:25, however, right after I had booked the schedule was adjusted and new flight timings were 16:40 departure time and 18:25 arrival time. Not ideal as I was hoping to get a half evening around town the day I arrived, but there should still be time for that if we arrived on time.

Qatar Airways offers a free stop-over with accommodation in Doha if your shortest connection time between flights is 8 hours or more. Our flight from Clark was supposed to arrive at 23:35 local time, and our flight to Stockholm the next morning was at 07:35, so I contacted Qatar Airways on Facebook Messenger and asked if they were offering us a free stop-over in Doha (I messaged them on the 6th of May.)

Qantas is in the process of upgrading their fleet of 12 Airbus A380s.
They took delivery of their first A380 as early as 2008, so the oldest one has already been in service over 11 years, so I guess an upgrade was needed. Cebu Pacific has their check-in counters in Hong Kong terminal 1, Isle D. Coming off a nightshift I brought my bags with me straight from work to the check-in counter, and did the check-in about 90 minutes before scheduled departure.

As I say in the about part of this blog, a big part of the reason for me making this is to log my own personal memories of my travels. I have done a lot of travels in the past, and I am realizing that the memories are getting blurred and mixed, and details as not nearly as clear as they used to be. In addition, a lot of the photos i have taken have been lost in computer crashed, or they are in a folder with 17.000 other unsorted pictures and never gets looked at.
