According to a press release issued by the Department of Health’s Centre for Health Protection today, Singapore Airlines budget carrier Scoot will receive a ban of bringing passengers into Hong Kong from Friday the 16th of April and for 2 weeks.
The ban was issued after two passengers on the flight from Singapore to Hong Kong on Sunday tested positive for COIVD-19, and one of the passengers had failed to comply with the requirements specified under the Prevention and Control of Disease Regulation. However, the department didn’t specify which requirement had not been met.
Scoot is the 2nd airline to receive a ban this week, only 3 days after Emirates received the same ban.
