New Horizons: HK Express Launches Direct Flights to Guiyang

Budget airline HK Express is continuing its expansion across mainland China with the launch of a new direct route from Hong Kong to Guiyang, the capital of Guizhou Province. Starting July 31, 2025, this exciting new link will connect travelers to one of China’s most culturally rich and naturally stunning regions—just in time for summer escapes and off-the-beaten-path adventures.

Four Flights a Week to Guizhou’s Capital

HK Express will operate the Hong Kong–Guiyang route four times a week using its Airbus A320 aircraft. The route, designated UO101 (Hong Kong to Guiyang) and UO102 (Guiyang to Hong Kong), will run from July 31, 2025, through March 28, 2026, offering frequent, affordable access to a city often overlooked by international travelers.

The flight will depart from Hong Kong International Airport (HKG) at 10:00 AM and land in Guiyang Longdongbao International Airport (KWE) at 12:30 PM. On the return leg, the flight will depart Guiyang at 1:30 PM and arrive back in Hong Kong at 4:00 PM.

To celebrate the launch, HK Express is offering limited-time promotional fares starting at just HKD 88 for one-way travel under its “Ultra Lite” option. While this fare includes only a small personal item, travelers can add baggage and services at their discretion. The promotional booking window runs from June 9 to June 11, 2025.
