Cebu Pacific suspends Iloilo–Hong Kong through 28 November

Cebu Pacific has suspended its four-weekly Iloilo–Hong Kong service from 27 October through 28 November 2026, according to schedule filings picked up by AeroRoutes. If you were counting on a direct ILO–HKG hop in that window, treat it as grounded until the filing says otherwise.

This is a full pause on the route for about a month — not a frequency trim. Visayas–Hong Kong travellers should plan via Cebu (CEB) or Manila (MNL) connections, or another carrier, and not assume the Iloilo nonstop is still flying.

Not the same as the Clark–Hong Kong cut

Same AeroRoutes batch also cut Clark–Hong Kong from 14 to 7 weekly for early winter — I wrote that up separately because CRK–HKG is my commute. Iloilo–Hong Kong is a different line: a complete suspension of the four-weekly ILO–HKG pair through 28 November. Do not mix the two when you are checking tickets.

What to do if you hold November ILO–HKG tickets

• Open your booking in the Cebu Pacific app or website and confirm the PNR still shows a live ILO–HKG sector — cancellations and involuntary rebooks often land without a loud email.
• If the nonstop is gone, ask for rebooking via CEB or MNL (or a refund / travel fund under Philippine cancellation rules) before you travel.
• Build connection time honestly: ILO→CEB/MNL→HKG (or the reverse) is a different day shape than a single-sector hop.

After 28 November

Reinstatement after 28 November is filing-dependent, not guaranteed. Schedule filings move; do not lock hotels or onward HKG flights on the assumption that ILO–HKG snaps back on 29 November until Cebu Pacific’s live booking inventory shows it again.

Practical takeaway for Visayas and Hong Kong readers: for late October through late November 2026, plan ILO–HKG as a connection via Cebu or Manila, double-check every November PNR that still lists the direct, and treat a post-28 Nov restart as provisional until the inventory confirms it.
