Greater Bay Airlines autumn flash sale from Hong Kong — 8折 returns, and an HKD30 mainland one-way

Greater Bay Airlines put out a short autumn flash sale on 16 October, and if you are still hunting a last-minute hop out of Hong Kong it is worth a look before it closes. Booking is open through 21 October 2026. The round-trip discount is 8折 / 20% off on designated economy seats, with Super Economy (超經艙) also in the mix on Tokyo and Sapporo. Travel for those returns is generally through 17 November 2026 — not a long window, so the dates that still show inventory are already fairly sparse.

Cathay Pacific’s 2026 Online Travel Fair from Taiwan — Hong Kong on the destination list

Cathay Pacific opened its 2026 Online Travel Fair on 16 October, and I will be honest about the geography straight away: this is a Taiwan-origin sale, not a Hong Kong-origin one. Bookings are from Taipei or Kaohsiung only. That still matters if you are flying out of Taiwan toward Hong Kong (or beyond on Cathay), or if someone in Taiwan is coming this way — Hong Kong is listed as a destination on the Asia table.

Cathay Pacific’s Dubai and Riyadh passenger flights cancelled through 31 January 2027

Cathay Pacific B777-300ER B-KQZ October 2026

So, Cathay Pacific has pushed the cancellation of its Hong Kong–Dubai and Hong Kong–Riyadh passenger flights out again, this time through 31 January 2027. That is a fair bit longer than the previous targets that were floating around for late October and November, and it is another reminder that this Middle East pause is not a short blip.
