Check-in and Immigration was quick and efficient at Bangkok Suvarnabhumi Airport, and after security was cleared I headed towards my gate with about 90 minutes spare before boarding was supposed to be starting.
I am a MasterCard LoungeKey member, and I was surprised to see that they had several lounges around Bangkok airport, normally my experience is that they are sharing Priority Pass lounges, but here they were using several different airline lounges.

My flight was leaving from concourse E, so I located the closest lounge to my gate, which was the Oman Air Business and First Class Lounge. All lounges at Suvarnabhumi airport are located one floor below the main departure halls, so they might be a little bit difficult to locate, but I quickly arrived at the right spot.
The receptionist accepted my LoungeKey Mastercard and boarding pass, and I was shown inside the lounge. Entering I was directly impressed, the lounge was fairly spacious (considering Oman Air probably only has a couple of flights a day to Bangkok), and the decor was in a very pleasant burgundy/grey/silver color theme.
There was a very good coffee maker where you could make all kinds of coffees, a bar area with a good selection of wines, sparking wine and liqour. Then there was a couple of fridges with cold soft drinks, water and beer.
Then at the food area they had three different kind of hot (middle eastern style) dishes, bread and jam, lots of fresh fruits, salads, sandwiches, cookies and cakes, and 5 different fresh pressed juices.
We were only 3 or 4 costumers in the lounge, and there were always at least 3 lounge staff hovering around, and as soon as someone helped themselves to any food or drinks, the staff was there and refilled whatever we had takes, so everything was always topped up and available for everyone.
The seating area was also very comfortable. There were two almost separate rooms in the lounge, but since the attendants were almost always hovering over me, I felt weird walking around taking pictures, so I have only a photo of the one sitting area where the food and drinks were also located.
There was a small office area overlooking the apron, and 3 computers were available for costumers to use.
The chairs and sofa were all very comfortable, the service excellent, and the food really fresh and tasty. I think this is by far my favourite lounge I have had access to with Lounge Key so far, and definitely a lounge I will come back to next time I am flying through Bangkok (it is much better than Thai Airways own business class lounges for example).
My visit here came to a quick end as after eating and drinking a bit it was time for boarding my plane, and I had to head off to the gate to complete my holiday for this time….
