I didn’t expect there to be any lounges available at Da Nang International terminal, so I was surprised to see a sign saying the CIP Orchid Lounge accepted Priority Pass / Lounge Key, so I headed upstairs to check it out. It is located airside, after immigration turn right and head upstairs to the mezzanine floor.

My visit to Ba Na Hills was a part of my first time exploring Da Nang in September 2023. I didn’t know much about the place, other than the hand holding the bridge, and was not quite sure what to expect. And boy did I get surprised, so that is why I decided to dedicate a whole post to this amazing place.

As previously mentioned in my introdution to this holiday here, this was my 4th visit to Vietnam, a place I come to love more each time I go there. I won’t bore you with the details from the past, and just pick at at leaving the airport, I got a taxi from the airport to my hotel, the 4 Points by Shearton, for a fixed price of 300.000 VND. This quick review is a part of my 3 day getaway to Da Nang in September 2023, which you can read about here.

This was my 4th time visiting Vietnam, and first time visiting Da Nang. I spent most of 2023 traveling to the Philippines to see my family there, but a couple of times I was not able to find suitable tickets on my days off to go there, so I had a few chances to explore other destinations instead. This trip gave me 48 hours to explore Da Nang, Vietnam, a place I didn’t know much about before I went there, but I was very pleasantly surprised!

As part of my covid-restriction and reaction I was living in hotels from January 2022 onwards, and one of the hotels I stayed at was the Cordis Hotel in Mong Kok, Hong Kong.
