I didn’t expect there to be any lounges available at Da Nang International terminal, so I was surprised to see a sign saying the CIP Orchid Lounge accepted Priority Pass / Lounge Key, so I headed upstairs to check it out. It is located airside, after immigration turn right and head upstairs to the mezzanine floor.
I was greeted by a very friendly lady who checked my membership card and boarding pass, and I was allowed inside free of charge. The lounge was large and well equipped with several sitting areas, drinks and a good selection of both hot and cold food – I’d defiinitely be having my dinner here before my flight!
As I walked inside, the food and beverages were right by the entrance, but I headed further in to find a place to sit before filling up my belly. The lounge consisted of 2 separate sitting areas, a work area with several Macs and printers avaiable to use free of charge, and semi-private booths with your own TV.

Then next to the sitting area was the workstation area, and the semi-private booths.

In the food area, there was a separate section for noodles, one for cold foood and one for warm food. Very impressive in my mind.

Then in the hot food area there were about 10 different hot dishes to choose from – this is better than most business or even first class lounges I’ve been to!

There was also a large area with a selection of fresh juices, coffee and tea, softdrinks, beers, wine and some stronger alcohol as well.
As you can see from the pictures, the lounge was almost empty, which made the spread they offered even more impressive – as said before, this lounge tops most other lounges I’ve ever been to, and I am very surprised that Priority Pass and Lounge Key offers access to lounges like this!
