Cathay Pacific is ramping up capacity on its popular Hong Kong (HKG) to Singapore (SIN) route, offering travelers more options in 2025. With up to eight daily return flights (56 weekly) during the northern summer season (April to October 2025), the airline is nearing its pre-COVID peak of nine daily flights. This expansion comes as Cathay Pacific hits 100% of its pre-pandemic passenger capacity, driven by strong demand and a competitive edge in the Asia-Pacific.
The airline is mixing things up with its fleet, introducing the Airbus A321neo on one daily flight from March 30, 2025, alongside Airbus A330 and Boeing 777-300ER aircraft. Select flights feature the luxurious new Aria Suite Business Class, offering closed-door, lie-flat suites for premium travelers. This follows a 25.5% increase in Available Seat Kilometers (ASKs) in March 2025, reflecting robust growth on high-traffic routes like this one.

Cathay Pacific has also discontinued its “fifth freedom” Singapore-Bangkok flight, redirecting resources to bolster direct Hong Kong-Singapore services. With Hong Kong’s new third runway and a fresh pilot recruitment drive, the airline is well-positioned to meet rising demand from business and leisure travelers.
While not quite at 2019 levels, Cathay Pacific’s increased capacity and premium offerings make the Hong Kong-Singapore route a standout in its network. For the latest schedules or to book, visit www.cathaypacific.com.
