This week there has been several announcements from east or north Asian countries about opening up. The most significant ones has been:
- Hong Kong removing hotel quarantine effective September 26
- Taiwan to remove hotel quarantine effective October 13-ish
- South Korea to remove outdoors mask mandate effective September 26
- Japan to resume visa-free entry for all previous approved nations effective October 11.
