Starting November 19 2019, Cebu Pacific are starting direct flights from Hong Kong to the most beautiful island in the Philippines, Palawan. The flight will be flying to the biggest city on the island group, called Puerto Princesa.
The flight will be operating 4 times per week, with flights leaving Puerto Princesa and Hong Kong on Tuesdays, Thursdays, Saturdays and Sundays.
The flights are scheduled with a 3 hour block time, but I will be surprised it it takes more than 2.5 hours, and the flight distance is less than 1000 NM.
The flights depart Hong Kong at 19:30 and arrives at 23:00, whereas the return flight from Puerto Princesa departs at 15:35 and arrives at 18:30. (Saturday flights are scheduled 30 minutes later.)
Unfortunately those timings are not ideal for a quick getaway, as the first day will be lost with arrival being around midnight, but this is still something that I will do soon as I had an amazing trip to Palawan a few years ago, and can’t wait to go back.
Tickets currently costs around 1000 HKD return, during promotions from Cebu Pacific (Which happens regularly) expect to see prices as low as 600 HKD return.
