Torp – Copenhagen with Wideroe economy class

This will be the shortest part of the trip report, as it is also the shortest flight and there really isn’t much to tell…

Wideroe Dash-8 Q400

My father dropped us off at the airport, and we were at the self-service check-in desk in minutes after arriving. However, we were not able to use it to print bag tags, as we were booked on a Qatar Airways ticket, which does not have any interline agreement with Wideroe. The staff was a bit surprised about this, but after about 15 minutes they were able to get bag tags for us all the way to Clark, but only boarding passes to Copenhagen – we were told we needed to go to the transfer desk in Copenhagen to get the onward passes.

After passing through immigration and security, it was time for breakfast for the kids, which was left-over pizza from the day before, and it looks like they enjoyed it 😀

Boarding started on time, and we quickly found our seats, I was in 3B and the kids in 3C and D (there is only 2+2 seats in the Q400).

We pushed and started on time, and after a very quick take-off roll we were airborne on time.

It’s nice to have someone to hug when the airplane makes scary sounds 😀

The interior of the aircraft was very nice, leather seats, and a reasonable amount of leg-space, I had a good 10 cm free from my knees and to the seat in front of me.

Leg space was good.

After departure we were offered free coffee or tea, and the crew managed to offer refills two times in this 55 minutes flight, which I think is pretty good.

We arrived Copenhagen on schedule, and after a fairly short taxi we parked at a remote stand, and there were buses waiting for us to take us to the terminal.
